The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Environmental Center furthers the mission of the Alice Ferguson Foundation to encourage connections between people, the natural environment, farming, and the cultural heritage of the Potomac River Watershed. HLTF collaborated with Re:Vision Architecture and an extensive design and construction team to incorporate timber and glulam framing into the 480,031-square-foot environmental center complex. Integrated design charrettes were part of the process to bring the project to life.
